GERG SANTOS ON AYALA WESTGROVE HEIGHTS A beautiful discovery meant to be shared with others
For a family who spent 8 years living amidst the bustling metropolis, moving to Ayala Westgrove Heights proved to be more than just a change of environment. It also meant embracing a new lifestyle. As Gerg Santos relates, "life here is simplified so we have more time for each other. It is really conducive for family bonding."
Getting used to the new surroundings did not come easy for the Santoses. According to Gerg, her daughters missed the "noise" of the city. But no sooner than expected, they began to appreciate Ayala Westgrove's natural beauty, serenity and valued amenities, "They used to love going to malls. Now they go biking, swimming or badminton at the clubhouse," says Gerg.
Having St. Scholastica's College Westgrove a mere stone's throw away proved beneficial not only to her daughters but Gerg as well. Currently, Assistant Directress, she works without being away from her children, "I was not working when we were living in the city so when we moved here I dread being stuck at home. When my aunt suggested working here, I took a chance. It was great because I need not worry about girls since they also spend a lot time here."
St. Scholastica's College Westgrove is just outside the subdivision. It officially opened in 2001. The school accommodates 303 students in pre-school, grade school and high school. The six-hectare property comes with library, computer room, audiovisual room, laboratories, a gym, canteen and instructional media center.
The school, being at a location deemed most conducive for learning, also takes pride in its valued extra curricular activities geared towards developing students to becoming well-rounded individuals. It constantly encourages students to participate in outreach programs, club organizations, competitions and other activities such as Family Day, National Book Week and Ecology Month among others.
Indeed, Gerg and her family found not just a home at Ayala Westgrove Heights, "We definitely discovered something beautiful here. Of course, when you discover something beautiful, you have to share it with others. So, I always tell people I know to come and see Ayala Westgrove Heights. Find out for themselves what they are missing."
